CHICAGO Hostel is a place founded, owned and run by Ecuadorians located in Quito, more exactly on the border between the old town and the new town. We are only 5 minutes walking to the largest and best -preserved historic centre in the Americas and 15 minutes walking to the Night Life district. Worth mentioning is that it's not only close between culture and history and the restaurants and bars, our location is also considered to be one of the safest in Quito and one of the easiest areas to get any public transportation.

You haven't seen Quito before you have seen it from our 'Glass Covered Top Terrace', so here is the place to start a good day enjoying a delicious breakfast (not free) and sharing a nice chat with travelers like you or just using our WIFI. During the evening and night time you will have the opportunity to enjoy an amazing view of the Colonial old town on lights.

* Our service is more like a Hotel, this means daily housekeeping; all our bedrooms have full private bathrooms, we provide fresh clean small towels everyday, body soap, toilet paper and hot water showers (24 hours). Also you can use our luggage storage & security lockers during your trips out of the city or only for a few hours,
* Our common room is designed to enjoy a delicious Fresh Hot Coffee or a Traditional Ecuadorian Cold Big Beer enjoying a book which you can also swap your finished book for new one.
* If you are a new age person and love to be surfing at the internet you have the chance of use our internet service or if you would like you could connect to our WIFI at our covered top terrace.
* The staff could help you booking anything you need from a taxi until a Galapagos tour or just help you to delivery food to our place, so you will feel the comfort without worries for so little details.
* Concerning rules; our hostel is a hostel with guests from several different cultures and countries. Thus, we have a clear set of rules that we expect all our guests to respect in order to guarantee a nice atmosphere for all our guests and personal. If you are a person who does not like the idea of rules, then we would recommend you to instead of making a booking with us to find one of the other fine hotels that Quito offers.

* Our reception is opened form 8am to 10pm (weekdays), this is due the fact that we're a small place but you could make the Check-In any time at night (only for bookings).
* Check In is 2PM. Check Out is at 11AM.
* Dorm is only for people wich age is between 23 and 30 years old.
* Like the big cities around the world, the noise is in most of the areas specially in zones like Down Town and Quito is not the difference. If you have some problem with this issue please request a room with windows to the corridor.
